1. Single sign-on (SSO)
Vulcan integrates with Okta and Azure AD for external authentication providers.
To configure SSO in Vulcan, follow these steps:
Generate a metadata .xml file in your SSO provider’s platform
Click “Upload”
Upload the metadata file.
Note - To disable SSO in Vulcan, simply remove the metadata .xml file.
2. API Token
Use an API token to authenticate with our platform by generate it from your Vulcan account:
Click “Generate token” to generate an OAuth 2 token.
Choose an expiation date
Copy and paste the token in the appropriate location on your end.
Note:
For security reasons it isn't possible to view the token after navigate from the authentication tab. if necessary, generate a new token.
Keep the token secretly, just as for any password.
The token's expiration date is 1 year from creation by default.
