The "Has Fix Type" filter is part of Magic Search. It allows you to filter vulnerabilities by specific fix options and delivery methods.
This enables automation and streamlined routing of patchable vulnerabilities to the appropriate teams.

Create an automation based on a fix-type
Assign and route vulnerabilities to different teams based on fix-type
Distinguish between patchable vulnerabilities and non-patchable vulnerabilities
Fix-types and their filtered results
Fix-Type value | Results description |
Ansible | Vulnerabilities that have Ansible script as at least one of the available fixes |
Chef | Vulnerabilities that have Chef script as at least one of the available fixes |
Puppet | Vulnerabilities that have Puppet script as at least one of the available fixes |
SCCM | Vulnerabilities that have SCCM script as at least one of the available fixes |
Workaround | Vulnerabilities that have a workaround solution as at least one of the available fixes
Note: A vulnerability with an available workaround might also simultaneously have other available fixes or patches.

Filter vulnerabilities by fix-type
Go to Vulnerabilities.
In the Filter, select Vulnerability > Fix Type > is > <select the relevant fix type>.
Automate and route vulnerabilities by fix-type
Since Fix-Types are meta-data elements, you can use them as conditions in any automation you create.
