After careful consideration and review, we have decided to deprecate the Tenable WAS connector. This decision was not made lightly, and we want to provide you with clear information about our reasons and the path forward.

Reason for Deprecation: The primary reason for deprecating the Tenable WAS connector is the lack of an official API supported by Tenable for integration. We have found that the data pulled via the current API does not accurately reflect the information displayed in the Tenable WAS user interface. This discrepancy leads to challenges in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the data within our platform.

What This Means for You: The Tenable WAS connector will be removed from general availability. However, it will remain available upon specific request, with an understanding of its known limitations.

Looking Ahead: We are committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience and service. We will closely monitor developments from Tenable and resume full support for the connector when a reliable and officially supported integration API becomes available.

Workaround: In the meantime, we recommend utilizing the Vulcan Report Mapping Guide as an alternative solution.
