Configuring Connector Sync Time

Advanced connectors allow you to configure their synchronization time:

  1. Go to Connectors > Select the relevant connector.

  2. Under Advanced Connector Configuration, set the sync time.

  3. Choose the time and specific weekly re-occurring days for synchronization. At least one day must be selected.

  4. Upon saving changes, you can choose to either update the settings for the next sync or immediately initiate a sync outside the scheduled time.
    Example:

Support and Limitations

  • Advanced Connectors Only: This feature is available for most connectors. Some connectors might now show this option.

  • Single Daily Sync: To maintain system integrity and performance, multiple syncs within the same day are not supported.

  • Uniform Sync Time: The selected hour applies uniformly across all days and both full and incremental (delta) fetching types.

Notes

  • Time Zone Awareness: The sync time is set in UTC but will also be displayed in your local time zone for clarity and convenience.

  • Hourly Precision: Sync times can be set for specific full hours only, ensuring predictable and straightforward scheduling.

  • Uniform Sync Time: The selected hour applies uniformly across all days and both full and incremental (delta) fetching types.

Expected Behaviour

  • Default Timing: The default sync time is set at 11 PM (UTC+02:00), daily (all weekdays are selected).

  • Editable Settings: Changes to sync settings can be made at any time. If a sync cycle is in progress, modifications will take effect in the next sync cycle.

  • Error Handling: If a connector encounters errors and retries extend into a "no sync" day, the sync will proceed to completion to ensure data integrity.
