The Search Anything AI field is a global search feature now available from all screen is the UI. It mainly allows you to:
Search your ingested data
Navigate through the Vulcan Cyber ExposureOS platform quick and easy
Perform quick actions like creating a report or adding a connector
The new Search Anything AI box is a powerful tool that translates your queries into actionable insights. Whether you’re searching for vulnerabilities, assets, business groups, or connectors, the AI understands your intent and delivers the results you need. Beyond just finding data, it also acts as a navigation tool to help you explore relevant sections of the platform.
What can it do?
Global Search offers a host of features to simplify your work:
Search intuitively: Ask specific questions like "Which CVEs contain 2021?" or "What assets have no associated business group?"
Smart suggestions: Receive helpful prompts to refine your searches.
Quick actions: Perform tasks such as adding new connectors or creating reports directly from the search window.
Keyboard shortcuts: Speed up your workflow with simple navigation commands.
Key Capabilities of SearchAnything AI
1. Intelligent Query Translation
SearchAnything AI interprets your queries and automatically applies filters to display actionable results. For example:
Query: “Find assets with Qualys vulnerabilities”
Result: A filtered view of assets associated with Qualys vulnerabilities.
2. Dynamic Feedback Mechanism
User feedback is at the heart of SearchAnything AI. You can easily share your thoughts by:
Clicking the Send Feedback button directly in the search interface.
Providing thumbs-up/down responses on search results.
This feedback directly trains the AI model, making it smarter and more tailored to your needs.
3. Interactive Results
Search results are dynamic and interactive, enabling you to:
Click on individual rows to view detailed information.
Use the “Show All” button to explore comprehensive results.
4. Advanced Error Handling
If the system partially understands your query, it will prompt you with clarifying suggestions and related filters to refine your search further.
How Does It Work?
SearchAnything AI leverages advanced machine learning algorithms, developed in partnership with Neradot, to interpret user input. It integrates seamlessly with Vulcan Magic Search (VMS) to retrieve data, apply filters, and present actionable results in real time.
Data privacy
The model processes only the query itself, never accessing underlying customer data. This separation ensures that while AI delivers quick, precise responses, it never interacts with sensitive information—safeguarding customer privacy throughout the process.

Beta availability: This feature is in beta to ensure we gather valuable feedback from early adopters and refine the experience before the full release.
Request access: To request access, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager. They will guide you through the process and submit your request for review. Our product team will evaluate your request and notify you if the feature can be enabled.
