About

SmartCVE is an AI-driven feature designed to generate descriptive titles for CVEs with only IDs (e.g., CVE-2024-1234).

What does SmartCVE do?

  1. Generates Descriptive Titles: Automatically assigns meaningful titles to CVEs without a name, based on structured metadata sourced directly from the National Vulnerability Database (NVD).

  2. Enhances Transparency: AI-generated titles are marked with a dedicated AI symbol and tooltips for easy identification.

  3. Protects Privacy: Only the CVE numbers are shared with the AI model—no customer data is involved.

Why use SmartCVE?

  • Better Context: Gain a deeper understanding of vulnerabilities with actionable titles.

  • Save Time: Quickly identify and prioritize critical issues without parsing through raw CVE data.

  • Boost Productivity: Enjoy a clearer and more readable format for vulnerability data, improving decision-making.

Enabling SmartCVE

To enable SmartCVE:

  1. Go to Settings > AI Features category.

  2. Toggle the option "Generate AI vulnerability descriptions for CVEs" to turn the feature on.

Note: New titles will replace CVE ID names after the next data synchronization, typically within 24 hours.
