VulBot is coming - The new chat AI chatbot

We are thrilled to announce VulBot coming next week. VulBot is our new ChatGPT-powered AI chatbot integrated into the Vulcan Cyber ExposureOS for an enhanced support experience. VulBot provides fast and accurate self-service responses by indexing knowledge base documentation, best practice content and common support queries.

What can you expect?

  • Comprehensive data sources: Access all relevant technical information at your fingertips in one window. VulBot integrates data from the Vulcan Cyber help center, https://vulcan.io, public sources like NVD and CVE, and best practice content to provide you with easily accessible Vulcan Cyber customer success content.

  • Fast and accurate replies: Get instant, precise answers to your questions about the Vulcan Cyber ExposureOS. Simply ask VulBot, and it will deliver the most relevant information to help you get the job done.

  • Enriched human support: Escalate your questions to human support by opening a ticket directly within the chat if VulBot doesn’t have the answer you need.

Privacy assurance: VulBot does not scan customer or tenant data, maintaining the privacy and security of your information.

“Playbook Name” parameter in ticket templates

The new “Playbook Name” parameter in ticket templates supports a crucial use case for managers to be able to track tickets generated by Vulcan Cyber in your ticketing system.

Data updates

Exploit maturity

The exploit maturity feature enhances the existing exploitable tag by providing a detailed analysis of the industry’s confidence level regarding known exploits. This addition allows you to make better-informed decisions based on the maturity level of the exploit.

What can you expect?

  • Comprehensive analysis and confidence levels: Gain a detailed breakdown of the confidence level in existing exploits based on CVEs and internal threat intelligence (TI), introducing various maturity levels, such as mature and unproven.

  • Streamlined UI reflection: Access and search within Vulcan Analytics, vulnerability details card, and filter vulnerabilities across pages based on exploit maturity levels.

  • Adjusted risk and scoring: Get a temporal score reflecting real-time threat intelligence.

EPSS for multiple CVEs

The Enhanced Predictive Scoring System (EPSS) for multiple CVEs has been revised to follow the recommended calculation formula by FIRST, ensuring more accurate risk assessments.

  • Revised calculation method: Get an accurate and comprehensive calculation of EPSS for multiple CVE vulnerabilities, reflecting a more accurate risk assessment.

  • New “N/A” option: Identify vulnerabilities where EPSS scoring is unavailable.
